Social Media Blog

Lisa Nelson is the founder of The Innovative Educator. She writes about ways to share positive education stories on social media, current news in schools that has to do with banning technology, and talks about what digital content needs to be other than just accessible to everyone. She has received awards from her district and was named the top influences of "Bring You Own Device". I decided to add her into this blog post because she is very passionate about technology being integrated into education and shares all about it/how to incorporate it in her blog.

Kammas (Murphy) Kersch is an educational innovation specialist who specializes in STEM, tech integration, and innovation. Her Linked-In talks about how ISTA has been an influential organization that has helped her in her career and talks about how much she loves to learn about new digital tools. In her blog, titled Tales of a Techy Teacher, she writes about remote learning, new digital tools, and how to get started with certain software/websites. I added her to this blog because she wrote about remote learning and I thought that was an important topic to learn about that not many people write about.

Michelle Emerson is the founder of Pocketful Of Primary. On her website she has resources about technology, lessons for your class, and digital planners. Along with her website she also has a podcast, book, youtube, and instagram. On her Instagram, she posts a bunch of teacher tips and digital class lessons. I chose to put her in this blog because she gives a bunch of resources and lesson plans to help integrate technology into your classroom in the elementary grades.
